Standard cigarette filters mainly trap tar. They do not focus on invisible Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) and carbonyls that contribute to harshness and are associated with health risks.
Our Activated Carbon Layer uses chemical adsorption to help trap harsh gases within billions of microscopic pores as smoke passes through the filter.
Independent testing of the Smokesafer Gold 5-stage cigarette filter reported reductions across tar, nicotine, carbon monoxide, and selected carbonyls under tested conditions. Results vary by cigarette type, puffing pattern, and usage cycle, and no cigarette filter makes smoking safe.
Multi-stage filtration captures smoke residue and helps reduce tar, carbon monoxide, carbonyls, and nicotine while maintaining normal airflow.
